parX is completely free. For anyone who wants to support us further, there are optional, paid supporter features. You can test them free for 14 days and then decide whether to become a supporter (from €0.99 a year) or whether the core features are enough for you.
No ads, offline maps, wait time history for past days, the crowd forecast for the next 30 days, unlimited wait time alerts and a supporter badge next to your name. Most of all, you help cover the running costs of parX.
Sure. In guest mode you can explore the map, wait times and parks without signing up. To check in, chat and add friends, create an account, in seconds with Apple or Google.
The list keeps growing, with new parks added all the time. If your park or a ride is missing, you can add it yourself right in the app.
Live data like wait times needs an internet connection, and most parks offer free WiFi. But parX saves check-ins, photos and status updates offline and sends them once you're back online. As a supporter, you can also use maps offline. And don't worry: parX won't eat your data plan!
For every check-in we only store the place you checked in at, not your actual position. We never store movement profiles or GPS trails. And for every check-in you decide whether everyone, only your friends or only you can see it.
